Claude takes top spot by a hair on Chatbot Arena leaderboard - Tom's Guide
Head-to-head Claude wins against GPT-4-1106 50% of the time and against GPT-4-0125 53% of the time. LMsys ranks them tied at #1. Also, the Bard model on the list is the free version, the $20 version is better, and Bard 1.5, the mixture-of-experts model, is in preview and is even more capable with the 1m-token context window, ability to upload audio and video and images to a single model.
The world is starting to catch up to OpenAI and there are three excellent frontier models. Or at least, the ball is in OpenAI’s court, Sam Altman said they will have something amazing later this year, so it will be interesting to see what happens!
